 Tìm Mãi Mùa Xưa...

Như bao mùa Giáng Sinh qua
Ngỡ rằng tìm được mùa xa xưa nào
Lời nguyện cầu đấng trên cao
Có lẽ chưa đủ Chúa nào thấu chăng
Tình ơi sao cứ vùng vằng
Con đường hạnh phúc không bằng phẳng êm
Đèn leo lét hắt hiu đêm
Lại thêm mùa nữa bên thềm nhớ ai!

Searching For Old Season Incessantly...

Just like so many previous Christmas seasons that have been passing
I have been searching, thinking I could find that old season in my looking
Amid the prayers I have been submitting to Heaven high above
Perhaps it has not been sufficient for God to consider and to know
O my Love, why is it that you have been bestirring yourself
That has not helped in making the going on the road to happiness so well
And now as the lamp is burning unsteadily and lonely at night
I again am missing someone by the veranda when the new season arrives!
