When a baby learns to speak
The very first word is "Mom,"
"Má," "Mẫu," "Mama," or "Mère"
"M" syllables always are on babies' lips
Regardless of where they are born:
North or South
East or West
on the planet.

On the lips of babies
The word "Mom" becomes sacred
A sound-certificate
A lovely reward
Mom is a well-rounded woman
Once she gives birth
To her own baby.

A mother's world
Has wonders all its own
When a baby cries for milk
Mom offers up her breast
From then on, one's life is nourished.

A mother's embrace
Holding her baby in her arms
Is such a happy and peaceful sight!

A mother gently lulls her baby to sleep
Her voice singing lullabies
Is the most soothing sound.

A mother's love for her baby
Is as deep as the sea
With all the moms and babies
How wonderful this world can be!
